KuroShitsuji, Black Butler (黒執事)
I recently just started reading this one after watching the Anime, so i cant compare it to the anime's storyline just yet. I Love the art and story though. It is an Action, Comedy, Drama, Historical, Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Shounen, Supernatural, Tragedy by Yana Toboso.
The series is about Sebastian Michaelis, a demonic butler who serves Ciel Phantomhive, the twelve-year-old head of the Phantomhive noble family who runs a toy & candy empire, that serves directly under the Queen. Sebastian has unquestionably perfect knowledge, manners and martial arts as well as talents in every other area imaginable. He carries out any task required by his master while solving the tragic problems plaguing England with ease and perfection. He is bound to Ciel by a supernatural "Faustian" contract.
The series has been serialized in Square Enix's manga magazine Monthly GFantasy since its debut in the October 2006 issue. The first volume was released on February 27, 2007 and as of November 27, 2009, eight volumes have been released so far. Yen Press has licensed the series for an English language release and serialized the manga in Yen Plus' August 2009 issue for the magazine's first anniversary. The publisher has released the first volume in January 2010. On March 29, 2010, North American anime distributor Funimation Entertainment announced on their online FuniCon 3.0 panel, they have licensed Black Butler the Anime.

Count Cain, Earl Cain, The Cain Saga (伯爵カインシリーズ Hakushaku Kain Shirīzu) & God Child
I adore this series Beautiful artwork by Kori Yuki (angel sanctuary) It's a very dark Drama, Historical, Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Shoujo, Tragedy. There is no anime for this one though there are dramaCDs.
The series focuses on a young earl/count named Cain Hargreaves, the son of Alexis Hargreaves and Alexis's sister, Augusta. Cain is abused throughout his childhood: Alexis whips him daily and orders the servants to ignore him. Despite this, Cain befriends a new servant named Riff, after Riff speaks to him. Cain acknowledges that his father despises him and has been slowly poisoning him with arsenic. When he secretly visits his mother at a mental institution, she mistakes him for his father Alexis and jumps out the window.
While dying, she warns him to escape from Alexis. He returns home and poisons his father. Before Alexis plunges into the sea, he curses his son to have a miserable life and die alone. Cain inherits his father's title of earl as a result of Alexis's presumed death. Years later Cain, now seventeen, solves murders with Riff's help and collects poisons. During one mystery, he adopts young 10 year old Mary Weather, who is his half sister. He also encounters his half brother Jizabel Disraeli, a member of a secret organization that focuses on resurrecting the dead. From him, Cain learns that Alexis had survived his suicide and became the leader of that organization, renaming it Delilah. After the death of the woman that Cain loves, a Delilah "doll" or resurrected corpse surviving on the fresh blood and organs of others, he vows to end Delilah's experiments with the dead. But then even more tragedy hits Cain for being his fathers son.
Earl Cain is licensed for English-language release in North America by Viz Media, It serialized Godchild in its manga anthology Shojo Beat from the July 2005 issue through the June 2006 issue. It published the series' first volume on March 7, 2006; the final volume was released on February 5, 2008.

The Gemma Doyle Trilogy: A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels & The Far Sweet Thing
Is a Fantasy Trilogy of Beautiful, Dark, Dramatic, Romantic, Adventurous,Historical, Horror-ish, Mystery, Psychological, Magical, Shoujo, Tragic novels by Libba Bray. Categorized as teen books, the books are a good read, I myself found it hard to put down.
This series is about a proud girl named Gemma Doyle. who is wanting to leave the warmth of her childhood home in India and go to England for an education and a proper upbringing. On her sixteenth birthday, her mother are walking through the Bombay market when the two encounter a man and his younger brother. The man relays an unknown message to Gemma’s mother about a woman named Circe, and Gemma's mother panics and demands that Gemma return home. Becoming angry at her mother’s secrecy, Gemma runs away, and has a vision of her mother committing suicide while searching for her, which she later learns is true. Gemma becomes haunted with the images of her mother’s death. As one of her mothers wishes if anything should happened to her Gemma was to be enrolled in the rigid Spence Academy for Young Ladies, a cold finishing school outside of London. She is followed by a handsome stranger who bears puzzling warnings. Using her sharp tongue and agile mind, she navigates the stormy seas of friendship with high-born daughters and her roommate, a plain scholarship case. As Gemma discovers that her mother's death may have an otherworldly cause, and that she herself may have innate powers, Gemma is forced to face her own frightening, yet exciting destiny.
The three books in the trilogy span just one year, with A Great and Terrible Beauty beginning in June 1895 and The Sweet Far Thing ending in June 1896.

A series of Mature Historical Romance novels full of Adventure, Romance, Drama, Tragedy and Suspense brilliantly written by Bertrice Small. The Adventure in all of these books are incredible! England, Ireland, France, India and Scotland are usually some of the main places travelled to threw out the books. The first one I ever read was A Love for All Time which I got from a thrift store i think when I was in grade 6,7 or 8 somewhere around that time and then years later I got Wild Jasmine from a box of a relatives unwanted books. If these books were ever made into movies they would be RATED R! there are times in some of them that it gets hard to read calling forth emotions of hate, disbelief, frustration and sadness for characters. I am still trying to build up my collection of this series. Every time i read one i fall in love with them all again and again. I hope one day I'll be able to read them all in order ^_^
Betrice Small's official site World of Betrice Small site and Skye is based off a real person too neet huh.
..which is something i am trying to change about myself. Not taking what men say into consideration too much and concentrate on myself as a woman in this life (...though attenmting to ignore the fact that i am a woman mostly... a females main function on this earth is to well reproduce life for the next generation an so on biological clock ticking and so on)
..just say thank you when they compliment don't read into it to much (actually have to remind myself that one especialy when its a guy i think is super frekin awesome and cute)
..and saying nothing at all when they are being arsehole douche-bags!
Though i know saying nothing at all can cause even more trouble when it comes to the realm of men. For some odd god damn reason i will probably never understand.
It's almost like their main goal when making fun of a girl is to see if she will cry or assault them verbally and or physically (like they are looking for punishment).
I'm not one for making fun of people so me verbally assaulting anyone never comes out as any great kind of insult.
So yes i am more prone to either a crying or attempting to bash their head in with something!
either one of those never go over well...
crying will only warrant more duchebagery instead of sympathy for you as a human being if the guy is one of those major immature douches...
and because being a woman, well, has it's drawbacks in strength and power (which is something a lot of women seem to not want to admit but if you don't admit it to yourself then yeah you are crazy to think that you are going to actually hurt a guy physically, Unless you take some sort of martial arts, are fit, or are a body builder) you really don't have much of a chance even attempting to fight a guy weather you or they start it. a little bit of damage to a guy (unless he started it physicaly and/or you're being raped) dosen't count as a win really. (why so many women wish they were men or gay men we want to be pretty but we don't want to be weak at all and suffer threw all the pain and stress of being a woman)
Anywhoooo for some odd reason today I'm just feeling a bit on the "OMGIDONTHAVEAMAN" lonely side and to make myself feel just a bit better i went looking for things to cheer me up about being a single weak stupid retarded heartless cold woman ^_^ (the joys of having EX-boyfriends)
Lost Love Quotes
from about.com 1. Washington Irving
Love is never lost. If not reciprocated, it will flow back and soften and purify the heart.(lesson: i think this guy is talking about a deep like, Never tell a guy you love him unless you are planing on spending eternity with him... but then there is always the is he really going to stick with you?)
2. Otomo No Yakamochi
Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there.(lesson: yeah dreams suck that way)
3. Anonymous
Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.(lesson: always on repeat)
4. Jean Anouilh
There is love of course. And then there's life, its enemy.(lesson: so true, if both of your life's aren't in similar places it is tough and hard filled with heart ache)
5. Alfred Lord Tennyson
'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.(lesson: this one may depend on who you are and your personality, we all seek love in some form though from when we are out of the womb its programed into you as a being on this earth)
6. Kahlil Gibran
Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.(lesson: hmm thats deep, and true you never really understand how much you love a person till they are gone, you can feel it when they are there and when you Imagen them not coming back but when they actually don't thats another story on how much harder you feel it)
7. Margaret Mitchell
I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.(lesson: once it's broke it wont ever be the same again, hence why we as humans have many loves and many dreams and expectations when it comes to them/love)
8. G. K. Chesterton
The way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost.(lesson: yep everything you share can be lost...)
9. Samuel Butler
It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all.(lesson: W.T.F does this even make sense and it sounds exactly like what Alfred Lord Tennyson said, with a grammatical error <.< how do you not lose at all by having loved and lost...)
10. Socrates
The hottest love has the coldest end.(lesson: sigh the coldest end indeed)

humm it's mind blowing when you think of it...
how much fashion plays a role in our daily lives... well, not really...
but, it's something everyone has an oppinion about
Fashion: is made of clothes, it lets you express yourself, it has so many cultures and subcultures oh and then there are for the most part these unwritten rules and standrds <.< which can be helpful and at times utterly useless. People today seem to try to fit in to the mold set by some fashion culture or people when they look at you try to fit you into it.
Personaly when it comes to Fashion my thing is when you find a certain thing you enjoy wearing (asticaly and physicaly) you should make it your own and don't let the fashion wear you by trying to fit into that cookie cutter shape. as much as I know some people abhor Gwen Stefani (for what ever reason) she said it best in the song Harajuku girl "Style is Style and Fashion is Fashion"
Now as it is I think most people are drawn to Fashions that they can see their personality in they can see something of themselves in it. (hehehe boring people wear boring normal generic clothes that don't have one bit of fun, fantasy or individuality to them, its true (^O^/) either that or they are trying waaaay too conform to what society thinks they should be) When you wear certain things and when you wear things a certain way, its a way of expressing your inner self. like if you have an active lifestyle or are an active person in general your clothes will reflect that.
hummm, me I when I was younger was a bit of a tomboy... during my teenage years I was trying to figure out myself as a girl growing into a woman, I am black, I like different types of rock music, old school hip hop, classical music, I enjoy learning and things from different cultures and I'm a fan of anime and manga (cartoons and comics). Since my parents were also still in charged of the budgetary side of my wardrobe , i didn't really get shop in many places plus they were just as weird as any parent ..well my mom was (and still is). I expressed myself with a lot of bright cartoonish colours as I grew my own style (what types of clothes I enjoy wearing) still hasn't really changed but it evolved and matured. I don't really go for the bight ass colors as much any more, nor am I decked out in orange from head to toe <.< (what was i thinking) ... when your younger you expiriment alot and untill you reach your 20's you wont really have a set style for yourself.
I have always had love for fashions (and styles) that uses a womans natural waist . everything is a lot more comfortable there, for me atleast. and it makes you look more like a woman than a man. a womans waist is higher than a mans. (girls stop trying to look like a man! you are not a man! you have curvy and giggly bits even if you are flat chested and have no bum)
The main Fashion cultures I take alot of my style from would be Gothic (Dark 'n' Elegant), Punk (Rough 'n' Outragous) and Lolita (CUTE 'n' Girly) Fashions. My style is a Mash up of these on any given day.
You all know about Gothic and Punk Fashions or at least know a little bit about it.
Now Lolita is a fashion that has pretty recently started showing up on this side of the world little by little and is very much missunderstood (probably more so on this side of the world/outside of japan).
It started in japan and is a very girly cutsie sort of fashion,
the main idea in my opinion
is to look doll like
porcelain doll like
It is aimed at girls in their teens to mid-twenties, with dress styles that are (HEAVILY) reminiscent of Little girls and Young laddies/women's fashions from Rococo to Victorian times even things showing bits (none at all from the 20's) of influence till around the 50's
(except a bit of a shorter hemline)
and even less-no influence from times after that till present (since fashion has it's ways of repeating stuff) a bit about Vintage fashion till now if you wanna know.
but anyways there are many different brands in japan (ones that sell over here too) and there are a few brands now in north America. each has their own kind of style and color pallet or what ever that they may use.
I like this fashion because it can work with my style and personality (see not the other way around really)
and as far as I'm concerned Yes dressing in Lolita can make you look like a child...
but that is really up to who wears it, what they are wearing and how they wear it.
There are many different types of Lolita to name a few there are Gothic Lolitas and Punk Lolitas, Classic, Sweet and even if I dear say it Ero Lolitas (and then there are sub-sub-styles). There is even aristocrat style which is considered Lolita by some and not Lolita by others but I see it as humm let's say Lolitas older sister ^_^ and there is "boy style" in both which is worn by both male and female (yay PANTS and shorts). for more info on Lolita Fashion in General CLICK HERE.
humm now when I first saw this fashion I thought that is wicked cool. when I did my research about it I was quite intrigued with all the different types and looks that can be pulled off
..but when I found English speaking communities and started reading some things about experiences people had with other people who like the fashion and differing opinions on the fashion.... Plus came across a few individuals that I was like... *rollseyes* there will always be those type of people no matter where you go I guess... who believe that their opinion is fact and nothing can go against this "fact" *sigh* lets just say I wish people would respect others opinions more often and just take it as that and not be so hostile when giving their own opinion, don't be a douche that person isn't/I am not you.
there are people who say that certin types/styles (even brands) of Lolita are not Lolita at all which kinnda makes me go "where the hell are you getting your info from?" note these people say it like it's fact and don't say that it's their opinion.
When people ask "are you a Lolita?" the first thing you should probably say is "no I'm just a person who enjoys Lolita Fashion and BLAH is my name ^_^"
Since if you say "yes" they start thinking of that cookie cutter image of what a Lolita is and what a Lolita should be... the stereotypes... since when does your personality and who you are have to be shaped after what's her face... Momoko from Kamikaze Girls or any other fictional Lolita character?
...that goes for anything else too, it's like yeah I'm black but since when are all black people
1) ghetto illiterate sounding bitchy assholes?
2)are Jamaican (no offence to Jamaican people but I'm NOT Jamaican) or African (same)
3)have giant booties >.> or other giant parts....etc.
Goths and Emos aren't happy people or dislike life... <.< haha that one kills me...
Punks and Goths aren't successful in life ... I have seen many succsesfull Goths and Punks and people following alternative lifestyles in general.
Point is ...don't judge a book by its cover i guess especialy when the book can have many differnt cover sleeves depending on how it feels and the weather (yes the weather) ...
"Style is style Fashion is Fashion ...Girl, you got style."
^_^ ~Shim
P.S. I abhor Rules in fashion that exclude people on a whole :(
dorkywell here i go....
Durarara!!

Durarara is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita, with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda. As of July 2009, six volumes have been published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Akiyo Satorigi started serialization in the shonen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy on April 18, 2009. An anime adaptation began airing in Japan in January 2010.[1] The series is about a Dullahan working as an underworld courier in Ikebukuro, an internet-based anonymous gang called Dollars, and the chaos that unfolds around the most dangerous people in Ikebukuro. -
Wikipedia
The Plot Summary of the series is
Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
Mikado Ryugamine is a young man who yearns for the city like no other. At the invitation of his childhood friend, Masaomi Kida, he moves to Ikebukuro and enters school there.
Masaomi tells Mikdado about some dangerous people in Ikebukuro to watch out for. There are two in particular, a brawling champion named Shizuo Heiwajima and hobbyist information broker Izaya Orihara. And then there is a mysterious organization of unknown origins known as Daraazu (Dollars).
On his first day headed into the city, Masaomi sees a jet black motorcycle being driven by a headless rider. From then on, a series of random attacks and events begin to occur on the streets of Ikebukuro, and a group known as the Kikinada Gang arises as Ikebukuro begins to crumble. - Crunchyroll Durarara! Then I'll give you the preveiw for the anime.
Now so far as I'm typing this, there are only 5 episodes out of the Anime and 6 scanlated chapters of the Manga.
I hear there are only going to be 12 episodes of the Anime, I usualy see that as them raising hype about the Manga. Either way This series is Wicked Awesome!!! There is Action, Mystery, Romance, Comedy and Suspence in this supernatural anime. The soundtrack so far I'm Loving it.
The Manga starts out abit differently than the Anime but follow the same basic story line as far as i can see.. The manga actually scared me ...a bit. Thriller anyone?
I Highly Suggest watching this one!
for your enjoyment the Opening Credits...

excitedThis is My Opinion.
please feel free to join. the discussion.
Is there an invisible cycle?
My mom always likes to say don't become a statistic!
...but the way I see it is that we are all statistics. we are good ones and not so favorable ones.
I have always heard that statistically children who grow up in a certain situation have less of a chance of "making it in life"(it's harder for them to make it).
I'm not saying that everyone who is in the situation won't make it somewhere
but I know it is harder without the same types of connections children living in other places (and bought up differently) have, both in family and community.
I've also read that if your parents are in a type of situation chances of you living the life you may want for yourself are pretty slim. at least without sacrificing a whole lot(it seems).
I think its the same with the community (which includes friends and immediate family) that you grow up in too. If you have people around you that are bad influences depending on how your personality is you can fall into the same bad habits that those around you have.
School is a place young kids use to get away from any trouble they are having at home the only thing you have to worry about there is your school work. you don't have to worry about what your parent are doing or worry about what your parents are worrying about (when you ate young you do take on you parents worries unconsciously, you may not even understand why you are worrying about what ever). until you get some thing where you start to think about what your parents will say about it because it's something that comes up ever so often(unless you are a selfish type or have never heard you parents worry about something in the like).
smoking, drugs, money issues, behavioral problems...
the people around you can have an effect on the you of the future. (Friends, Family, Teachers) what they say and what they do. how you personality sorts the priority of importance of these people. how the individual takes what these important people to them say and do.
In the end you are your own person
the person you were when you were born,
but things effect you.
the only way nothing would effect you
is if you have the personality to disregard everything everyone including those you love and care for/about
do and say as rubbish or insignificant.(wouldn't we all like this personality)
and not try to understand them there methods and stuff.
humm I hope this makes sense.
I was just typing as the thoughts came to me.
I'll probably edit this in the future (grammar) so it makes more sense...maybe.
